Hope

Hope is capturing your dreams
Not letting them slip away

Hope is waking up to the sun
Every single day

Hope is growing old
With your own loving family

Hope is asking God
To keep your sanity

These are the things that I hope to accomplish

HOPE

Deceptive and full of illusion
Once you are trapped by a piece of hope
Hope gives us agony instead of happiness
We sow seeds of hope
In our mind
But we can not reap the fruits.

Hope is that unseen fairy
we desire her since our childhood
The path of hope full of magic lamp
But it will reach you to deep darkness.

The Words I Gave You

I wrote a hundred words
I created new ways to say them
And I gave them to you
They're yours
As they will always be
But there's a few more
That I meant for you to have
They got lost somewhere beyond your eyes
But my lips have found them on your face:

I hope you die
I hope you die
I hope you bleed yourself dry
I hope you choke
I hope you choke
On the tears that you cry

I wish you nothing
Nothing more
Than the blackest of skies
I want to see nothing
Nothing more
Than nothing in your eyes

All Hope

All hope lies in tomorrow
Betrayed by yesterday
For every new horizon
There is a price to pay
The piper plays his tune
Holds out a hand for gilt
The memory cries a river
The wrong side of spilt milk

All hope lies in tomorrow
Forgetting yesterday
All hope is stored in thoughts
Arranged to form a play
There’s laughter and there’s intrigue
There’s sadness and there’s pain
Yet by the final act
Laughter rules again

All hope lies in tomorrow
Aphrodite by my side
To walk a brave new world
Athena as my guide
All hope lies in tomorrow
Under Helios’s light
To trust tomorrow to Themis
Her justice and her right

Procrastination

I waited until the last minute
I hope I get it done
I hope I make it to work on time
I really gotta run
I hope she doesn't collect it today
I hope she doesn't grade it
I hope I have more time to think
I really shouldn't have waited

Find The Sunshine

Wednesday, May 6, 2009

I hope you find the sunshine
on a rainy day.
I hope you find the right words,
for everything you say.
I hope that you feel grateful,
for every hurtful word.
Even though they probably
will leave you many scars.
I hope you find the gold
at the end of every rainbow
I hope your always happy
and never feel too low.
I hope if you are reading this,
and you know who you are.
I hope that if you need to talk,
you know I'm never very far.
I hope you find someone,
who loves you sweet and true.
I hope you find that someone,
and leave me alone in the blue...

My hopes for you

I hope they understand you cause I felt they never understood me
hope they treat you well cause I felt they always did the things that made my temper swell.
Hope you don’t get distracted from the presences of the lord as there I really hope my soul to dwell
hope your life is not touched by the wrong people and if any attempt I will be there to guide you like a shell
hope when you grow up you would speak positive and the truth you would always tell
hope when you become a gentle man at your woman you wouldn't have to yell
I hope the best for you, I hope that you and I wont just be the father and child but best of friend too, unlike I and my father we would also build a friendship that would keep us close as if we we’re stock by glue.

Honestly

This poem is dedicated to Kimberly Ashley Evans.

Honestly I know I love you
Honestly I hope you know thats true

Honestly you are the one
Honestly I hope we are never done

Honestly your my life
Honestly I hope you will be my wife

Honestly I know Im yours
Honestly I hope you dont open any other doors

Honestly your mine
Honestly I hope that is fine

Honestly you are so pretty
Honestly I hope you know that Kimi

Honestly do you know what to do?
Honestly I hope you have a clue

Honestly will you marry me?
Honestly I hope you know I wont deceive

Honestly without you I would die
Honestly that is not a lie

Honestly do you know what I see?
Honestly I see someone that deserves glee

Honestly you are amazing
Honestly you are my craving

Honestly God loves you
Honestly I cant blame him because I do too

Honestly your always right
Honestly I hope your always in my sight

Honestly lets spend out lives together
Honestly Forever

Locked
Between
Two fires
or three
Waiting
waiting
waiting
Depressed
depressed
despair
despair
despair
Hope
hope
hope
hope
Waiting
Pain
pain
pain
pain
waiting
for
His
Mercy
Mercy
Mercy
Mercy
Forgiveness
Fed up
Fed up
Yet fed up with hope
Or so to say:
Fed With Mercy....

Living With Hope

I am overwhelmed with fear, fear that can only mean hope,

hope that can only be descrbed as the healing tool.

For the outcome of this imagining fear I've just

introduced as hope. I am over my fear and my hope just disappear,

what am I to do, when I just lost both and I don't

have hope.

School is Back In

School is back in,
I hope it is a good year.
I hope I have the classes I wanted.
I hope I get to see my friends a lot this year.
I hope I got good teachers this year.
I hope no one calls me my sister’s name this year.
School is back in.

Dare I Hope?

Dare I hope to hope?
Is it safe? Is it right?
Am I hoping for nothing
But a black and empty night?

Hope should make me happy.
I should laugh, sing, and dance
Because I am hoping. Right?
Ha! Not a chance.

How is it that hope can leave me
Trembling in the darkness?
How is it that something so “good”
Should leave me feeling helpless?

Dare I hope to hope?
What difference does it make?
Fate will be fate in the end,
It will either “make or break.”

Does Fate regard my hope?
Does She listen? Or care?
Am I shooting for a star that
Simply isn’t there?

I cannot know! Oh, God
Why must I struggle with
This doubt that pulls at me
Rends me, limb from limb?

What sort of hope leaves pain
Where it should instead leave joy?
Is this hope at all? Or perhaps
Some wicked demon’s ploy?

I cannot know! Dear heaven!
How can I even begin to dare
To hope for something – anything?
Is no assurance there?

No promise? No guarantee?
I cannot stand it! I cannot!
The doubt is a plague
In my every thought.

Dare I hope to hope
In a hope that leaves me dry
And lost? How can I dare
To hope in hope? How can I?

The one I did not become

Friday, May 1, 2009

Hope the sun shine so bright
To make your day bright
Hope the birds can sing
The song I used to sing
Hope the wind can whisper
Three words I used to whisper
Hope the moon will always be there
To inform you I still care
Hope all of the stars up above
Reminds you of my true love
And hope that special someone
Be the one that I didn’t become

WINGS

I hope that fear never touches you
and if it does I hope you know your bravado to look it in the eye and walk right past it
I hope you know you have wings
wider than most people’s,
I hope you know you have a soul
prettier than almost everyone,
I hope you know you have spirit
fierce and yet serene
I hope you know you are someone special
and even if you don’t ask me I’ll still tell you
that you have always been someone I
would always carry in my heart
as long as I shall be.

No Hope

There was no hope
The night she died
There was no hope
He would survive
There was no hope
That he could be stopped
There was no hope
That gun wouldn't pop
There was no hope
That we could be
So try to say now
That there's still hope for me

It's Bed Time Sadie

Young child lay your head
No worries in your bed, I know
Theres hope

Sadie theres no monsters
If so I'll come and squash em, I know
Theres hope

Little lady don't be afraid
Come morning it'll be okay, I know
Theres hope

Darling you're my angel
Without you I'd be unstable, I know
Theres hope

Yeah hunny I know your sick
I'd do anything to get rid of it, I know

Dreams will wash away the dying, I know

hope like hell i hope

Tuesday, April 28, 2009

i hope the starving hungry tummies in africa get so full that they and the parasites they host inside them can have everlasting meals
i hope oprah builds more schools in africa and excludes more rich people and pisses more white people off who try to say she's being a racist
i hope cnn nbc abc fox cspan msnbc and the rest stop passing off low or no american casualties for the day in iraq as making the whole lot of iraqi deaths ok
i hope hollywood crumbles under the weight of its own image is everything, attention starved, spoiled ass, only child that has never heard no mentality
i hope gays and lesbians become the majority for a whole long time or at least long enough to legislate marriage laws and adopt foster kids and piss every intolerant heterosexual and religious fundamentalist off who arrogantly thinks they have a monopoly on moral rights
i hope facts come out that debunk everything anyone believes i myself included so that we may all know how it feels to be utterly wrong and not be so quick to make facts of opinions
i hope the hunter gets his prey
i hope the prey gets away
i hope that not one more diamond is ever found or formed
i hope the factories of the earth that make all 'precious' rocks go on strike
i hope humans lose their nearly sexual obsession with shiny objects
i hope this poem gets longer and longer and feeled with more disdain and hatred
i hope you hate this poem
i hope this poem takes all the hatred in this world and locks it in every line thereby leaving the world left to only love
i hope a shiite and a sunni fall madly in love and give birth to a child that impregnates a jew that gives birth to offspring that whorships the buddah but gets its eye caught by the most devout of conservative christians and then in turn i hope they both denounce all religions and faiths after realizing the true way to god is through humanity and love only alone and all by themselves
i hope life turns out to be worth all this poetry
i hope life turns out to be worth all this worry
i hope life turns out to be worth all this grief
i hope life turns out to be worth all this life
i hope life turns out to be worth all this hope
i hope it turns out to be worth it
i hope like hell
